Skin Cancer Surgery

What skin cancers do you treat?

We treat multiple different types of skin cancer, including Basal Cell Carcinoma, Squamous Cell Carcinoma and Melanoma.

Can a biopsy be done during my initial evaluation?

If there is concern that you might have a skin cancer, we prefer to biopsy the spot and send to pathology on the same day as your evaluation appointment. While this will not treat the cancer, it will help us get a diagnosis quickly. For larger lesions, we may have you return for a larger procedure on another day.

Do I have to have surgery for my skin cancer?

We offer multiple options to treat skin cancers: surgery, minimally invasive scraping, light treatment and topical creams. Surgery is not the right option for everyone. We understand that a diagnosis of skin cancer may be very worrisome, but for some the idea of surgery can be even more terrifying. Rest assured that we will work together to find the right treatment option for you, whether that is surgical or not.
